Shipping Policy
There is no packing or shipping on weekends or USA federal holidays. Shipping policies do not apply to special order items or pre-sale items. Most bows are in stock, which will ship the same day if the order is received before 8am, otherwise the next day unless the following day falls on a weekend or holiday. You can always email to check stock availability of a bow you are interested in or simply view the website. Stock products are a first come first serve basis. Bow making materials/items are mostly in stock as well, but some items must be cut or glued to the customizations of the order. It typically takes approx 1 week to process bow making supplies and kits that have to be customized to specification. Some items may be shipped separately from each other and one may show up before the other does.
Over size rates - Large orders, over size shipments or orders that require shipment in multiple boxes will require additional shipping fees to cover the over size balloon rate. The shopping cart does not calculate over size packages, your method of payment will be billed the additional fees if any are required. We will ship internationally. Domestic and Internationally, the buyer is responsible for all shipping fees. Our shopping cart will calculate using UPS rates. You can use our shopping cart to process international orders. Keep in mind most products on this site are oversized and heavy, therefore shipping internationally sometimes costs as much as the product does, if not more. Return Policy
We do not take returns on any items that have been altered or worked on in anyway. If you are not happy with your purchase, please return it within 15 days. Please include a letter stating the reason for the return. Please send all returns to:

If the returned item is received after 15 days a 15% restocking charge is required. Also, please inform us first of a return by sending an email. Return shipping is the responsibility, shipping costs are non refundable. Items that have been scratched or damaged cannot be returned. Please inspect your product upon arrival and be sure there is no damage. Once you cut, glue, sand or alter any of our bow making parts, the product is no longer eligible for return or refund.
Since we use all natural materials in the production of our products, products may slightly differ from what you see in the photos on our website. Since no piece of wood, bone, horn or leather is the same, each piece unique and different.
Damaged in Shipping Policy
The customer is responsible for filing claims on products damaged during shipping. If you receive a product that has been damaged in shipping, you will need to take the following actions:
1. Keep the packaging, shipping label, and invoice.
2. email us at info@bowstick.com so we can provide the shipping label receipt.
3. You will need to take the damaged product and the packaging it came in, the invoice (proof of value), and the shipping receipt(proof of insurance value) to the post office.
4. When filling out the claim form - be sure to have the refund go to you, the customer. This will expedite the refund and enable you to reorder the replacement when the refund is received

Products damaged in shipping are not covered by our manufacturers' warranty and are the responsibility of the post office to provide a refund.
Custom orders return policy
When ordering any custom bows or arrows, please be sure you double check your order, and know what you are ordering. If you are unsure, ASK. If you do not specify specific draw weight, draw length, orientation of arrow rest, length of bow, etc. we will ship a standard size to accommodate.
We cannot accept returns or refunds on bows or arrows that were customized for a certain archer. Here are some examples: If you choose a draw weight of 45# @ 22" for a bow, we will make the bow 45# resistance at a 22" draw, which means the max draw length on the bow is 22". So know what draw weight and length you need before ordering as we cannot accept a return, as it was a custom bow. Another example. If you are buying arrows and choose a draw weight of 30# with a length of 18", that is exactly what arrow we will make. You will soon realize, unless the arrows are for a crossbow, the arrows will be useless to you, and to us as well. So please know what you are ordering before you order, if you are unsure, ask us. If you realize your mistake, let us know as soon as possible and we may be able to fix the error before we get too far into production. If production has started on your product or the product has already shipped, we cannot accept a refund.
Warranty Information
All finished bows have a 1 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects. Our U-Finish bows do not. Our bows will last a lifetime if properly taken care of. If the bow fails due to manufacturers’ defects within the warranty period, return the item for a replacement or credit towards a new bow. We will not warranty a bow against neglect, overdraw, or failure to use the bow stringer. The master bowyer for Bowstick Archery shall be the sole judge of deciding the cause of the failure.
U-finish bows, kits, staves etc. are not covered by warranty, simply put we cannot be liable for another persons workmanship. Keep in mind all the products we sell for bow making we use ourselves on a day to day basis. If you notice any defect in the item or in the material and it does not meet your standard, follow the return policy, we will gladly exchange it or issue a refund. However, if you cut into the material, we cannot accept a return.
