Fiberglass Laminating Sheet - Approx. 72" long by 2" wide. 8 oz.
A quick and easy way to add incredible strength and security to any bow. Use it on a self bow, longbow, flatbow, whatever. Use it for laminating with different woods, or as a single backing. Fiberglass is incredibly strong and can be applied using clear epoxy. For best results use Bowgrip 100. Once the epoxy is applied, you can see right through it!
To apply: Mix together your glue and pour it evenly accross the back of the bow. Lay your peice of fiberglass cloth on top of the glue, starting at the tips. The glue will soak into the fiberglass and the wood, making a permanet bond. Use a popsicle stick to spread the rest of the glue on top of the fiberglass. This process keeps the fibers on your bow down. Fiberglass cloth is great for saving a bow that may have a small split or crack in it. For first time bowyers, add fiberglass cloth as the final layer of your bow, it gives you added security for a small price, a very inexpensive insurance policy.
When applying, use 2 coats of glue for a smoother finish.
