Hi , i just recently bought a 33# English longbow and i would like to say that i love it. give my complements to the maker. i was curious on how would i go about putting a leather handle on it. would i just find the center of the bow and put the leather there and tie it on? i look forward to buying from you again. - The Lamer Gamer Justin, I thought I would give you an update. Evan, my son, made his 8th grade presentation last night about bow making. The audience was impressed with the trials and tribulations he went through to make a bow. He showed them all three. We had not finished tillering the last bow we got from you but it was close enough for him to demonstrate his tillering board and explain the process. Ultimately he used one of the schools recurve bows to shoot some of the arrows he made. Anyway thank you for your help and guidance. James R. Hi Justin, just a first feedback on the bows! By now I have finished six of them, and they look really good - quality wood, well tillered, and I like them! Unfortunately the weather today is not quite right for some archery, plenty of rain and sleet. I'll try the bows out during the next few days and let you know how I got on. Thanks again for the quick delivery. We are going to a market near Paris this weekend, and the customers there always buy quite a few longbows. Looking ahead to the outdoor season, I will probably need more bows for May or June. The quantity I am looking for in the next order would be 100 bows, same specification as the last lot. I am now on the last chapter of the book, and the part where I am discribing the bow, which had been created for the main character.
