Traditional Archery - Get Inspired!
I see it all the time, Compounds better than Trad!!! For me who cares!! Why? First off you can't do the same things with a compound that you can with a traditional bow. Second I am 10 times more accurate with my compound bow than I am with my recurve, 40 yrs with compound I am getting 4 inch groupings!!! Who cares!!!! I don't, its BORING shooting the same groupings!!!! BORING!!!
Now look at my shooting with Traditional bows!!! Dang I missed that shot, I missed that 3d target!! Heck, I even shot a tree branch!!!! LOL dang this is really fun!!! do I dare try and aim for that stump??? Sure!!! Go for it!!! I can tilt my recurve, I can shoot on an angle, I can shoot my bow laying down!!! Dare I do that with a compound??? To me I am having alot more fun with my Traditional bow and missing my shots @3d, and of course getting a good laugh!!! Sorry, I will patch the trees up as I go along.... now where is that duct tape!! I just find trad shooting is a lot more fun and brings the real instinct out of me. Oh those old training wheels............
